We enjoyed trekking, snorkeling classes and marine activities in the back desert on the largest island of the Izu Islands "Izu Oshima" floating in the ocean 120km south of the city center!

 

 

Day 1

◇ Boarding a jet ship ◇

Gather at the Tokyo Takeshiba Passenger Ship Terminal early in the morning and head to Izu Oshima!

Take a jet boat from Takeshiba Pier to Izu Oshima Motomachi Port!

◇Back desert (Mt. Mihara) trekking◇

We trekked together in Japan's only "desert" (marked on the map created by the Geospatial Information Authority of Japan) where the ground surface is covered with black volcanic ejecta "scoria" on the east side of Mt. Mihara.

◇ Snorkel course course ◇

After dinner, we all attended a lecture on the sea and equipment for tomorrow.Serious while fighting sleepiness!

 

 

Day 2

◇Morning Walk◇

Take a walk along the coastline and take a commemorative photo at Buddy's Bell

 

 

◇ Pool class ◇

At the hotel pool, we learned how to put on and take off snorkel equipment, as well as how to use it and practice snorkeling.

 

 

◇Ocean practice◇

Finally, we divided into teams and practiced what we practiced in the pool in the sea!

How many kinds of marine life did you see in the sea near Izu Oshima with outstanding transparency? ?

 

 

◇ Sunset & starry sky observation ◇

After dinner, enjoy the sunset and stargazing together!

It was fantastic to see the shadow of Mt. Fuji clearly in the background of the setting sun.

When the sun went down, the night sky was filled with stars that you can't usually see in the city!

 

Day 3

◇Pool play◇

On the last day, everyone can play snorkeling in a deep 3m pool that is rarely experienced!

There was also a result of practice, and everyone was able to swim well.
