• Name and location

    Article 1

    The name and location of the club ("Club") are as specified at the end of these Fitness Membership Rules ("Rules").

  • Operation

    Article 2

    The Club is operated and managed by CENTRAL SPORTS CO., LTD. (the "Company"), including in terms of the decision-making procedures concerning matters such as: admission to or termination of membership; changes to membership status; acceptance of membership fees and other various fees; and the establishment of, amendment to, or abolishment of, these Rules.

  • Purpose

    Article 3

    The purpose of the Club is to promote proper understanding and interest in exercise, as well as to promote sound physical and mental development and sports.

  • Membership Qualifications

    Article 4

      Those who are eligible for membership in the Club are those who meet the qualifications specified for each course, agree with the purpose of the Club, and accept these Terms and Conditions. (hereinafter referred to as "Member")

  • Admission Procedures

    Article 5

    1. Any person wishing to join the Club shall follow the prescribed admission procedures, and, upon admission to the Club, shall pay the membership fees and joining fees as prescribed by the Club. In addition, the Club may, as necessary, require the submission of a health certificate issued by a physician.

    2. If the person wishing to join the Club is a minor (under age20), admission procedures shall be carried out in the joint names of the minor and his/her guardian. In such case, the guardian shall assume liability under these Rules jointly and severally with the minor in the same manner as if the guardian himself/herself has become Member, and shall further agree to assume the risk and release the Club from liability, as set forth in Article 15 of these Rules.

  • Joining Fees

    Article 6

    Member must pay, in the prescribed manner, the joining fees designated by the Club. Such joining fees are expenses necessary for the execution and performance of a membership agreement, and will not be refunded once they are paid.

  • Member types and date and times of instruction

    Article 7

    Membership and requirements of the Club are as specified separately. In addition, Members should receive instruction on days and times specified separately.

  • Contents of Instruction

    Article 8

    The Club sets the guidelines and details for each course. The instructor will determine the individual and specific teaching methods based on the instructional guidelines and details.

  • Suspension or Termination of Membership

    Article 9

    If the Club finds that any of the following applies to Member, the Club may suspend or terminate the membership of such Member:

    1. (1)

      Member having delayed in the payment of his/her membership fees or other fees for three months or more;
      (Upon termination of membership, Member shall pay all of his/her membership fees and other fees arising prior to such termination.)

    2. (2)

      Member having intentionally damaged any of the Club facilities;

    3. (3)

      Member having breached these Rules or any other regulations prescribed by the Club;

    4. (4)

      Member having damaged the prestige or social reputation of the Club, or having disturbed the good order of the Club;

    5. (5)

      Member having been found to have made a false statement in any of his/her admission documents;

    6. (6)

      Member having engaged in misconduct which is found to impair his/her dignity as a member of the Club;

    7. (7)

      Member having been affected with an infectious disease or any other illness which is likely to be contagious or infectious to others;

    8. (8)

      Member having failed to comply with any reasonable instructions or guidance provided by the Club; or

    9. (9)

      The Club having otherwise found Member to be inappropriate as a member of the Club, based on socially-accepted principles.

  • Payment of Membership Fees, etc.

    Article 10

    Member must pay, in the prescribed manner, the membership fees, etc., designated by the Club. Matters such as the types, amounts, due dates and payment methods of, and other matters relating to, the membership fees, etc., shall be prescribed by the Club.
    (So long as Member holds the membership of the Club, Member is obliged to continue paying his/her monthly membership fees even if Member does not actually use the Club facilities.)

  • Adjournment and course changes

    Article 11

    When Member wishes to suspend his/her membership or change his/her course, he/she must follow the procedures in accordance with the separately established rules and regulations.

  • Membership Cancellation

    Article 12

    Member may, by carrying out the membership cancellation procedures prescribed by the Club by no later than the 10th day of any given month, cancel his/her membership as of the last day of such month. No membership cancellation by oral means, such as by telephone, is acceptable. For the purpose of the Club’s administrative procedures, membership cancellation procedures carried out after the 10th day of a given month shall be handled in a manner so as to cause the membership cancellation to be effective as of the last day of the following month. Member shall be obliged to continue paying his/her membership fees until the membership cancellation procedures are completed.

  • Non-Business Days

    Article 13

    As a general rule, the Club shall be closed on regular and seasonal non-business days, as specified in the Exhibit. In addition to such regular and seasonal non-business days, the Club may be closed for the repair of facilities, the arrangement of a venue, or for the other convenience of the Club. As a general rule, notices of such additional closing shall be posted within the Club building at least two weeks in advance. However, in the event of an emergency situation, such as construction work being urgently required for managing the safety of the facilities, the Club may close all or part of its facilities without posting a notice in advance.

  • Abolishment of Facilities; Restricted Facility Use, etc.

    Article 14

      The Club may abolish all or part of its facilities, or suspend its business operations on a temporary basis, in any of the following circumstances:

      1. (1)

        The performance of the Club’s business operations being hindered due to causes such as a typhoon or any other abnormal weather, wind, flood, fire, earthquake, or an accident in the neighborhood;

      2. (2)

        Reconstruction or repair work being conducted in respect of the facilities;

      3. (3)

        Any applicable legal system having been amended, administrative guidance having been provided, or considerable changes having taken place in the social or economic conditions;

      4. (4)

        Circumstances affecting the operation of the Club having occurred, such as termination of the authorization to use the facilities; or

      5. (5)

        The closing of the facilities or the temporary suspension of the Club’s business operations otherwise having been found to be necessary.


    1. The Club may use its facilities to hold sports school courses, etc. for the general public, subject to the posting of relevant notices within the Club building in advance. As a general rule, Members may be unable to use the Club facilities during the use thereof for such school courses, etc. In such case, the Club shall not provide any compensation to Members.

    2. In the event of competitions or other special events being held, all or part of the use of the Club facilities may be restricted. In such case, the provisions of the preceding paragraph concerning the holding of school courses for the general public shall apply mutatis mutandis.

  • Use of Facilities by Members; Accidents Involving Members

    Article 15

    1. Member shall use the Club facilities at Member’s own responsibility and risk and in cooperation with other Members.

    2. The Club shall not be liable for any theft, injury or other accident which may occur during Member’s use of the Club facilities, except for those attributable to the Club. The same shall apply to any trouble which may arise between Members either inside or outside of the Club.

    3. Member shall not engage in any act beyond his/her capacity or any dangerous act at the Club. Furthermore, Member shall not, without the Club’s prior written approval, provide coaching to any other Member for payment.

  • Changes in Information

    Article 16

    If there is any change in the information which Member has provided, such as his/her address or contact information, he/she shall promptly follow the procedures prescribed by the Club.

  • Revision of Fees

    Article 17

    The Club may revise the fees to be borne by Member under these Rules, referring to changes in the social and economic conditions and other factors. In such case, the Club shall inform Members of such revisions by posting the content thereof within the Club facilities or on the Company’s website at least one month before the effective date of such revisions.

  • Detailed Rules

    Article 18

    Matters which are not set forth in these Rules, and detailed rules necessary for carrying out the Club's business operations, shall be determined by the Club.

  • Revisions

    Article 19

    These Rules may be revised and modified by the Club, and the effect of such revisions or modifications shall extend to all of those who are Members at the time of such revisions or modifications. In the event of revising or modifying these Rules, the Club shall inform Members of the same by posting the content thereof within the Club facilities or on the Company's website at least one month before the effective date of such revisions.

  • Supplementary Provisions

    Article 20

    These Rules shall be effective from May 2023, 5.
