Notes on using school buses

To use the school bus, you must complete a school bus use application at the club reception.
When using the school bus, you can only get on and off on the days, times, routes, and stops that you have applied for.
Please note that you cannot ride the bus depending on the weather (such as only riding when it rains).

*If you ride the school bus, you will need to purchase a school bus reflective label at the club and attach it to your school bag.
(Reflective bus label fee: 1,100 yen (tax included))

Please be sure to understand the following points and inform your child accordingly.

At the bus stop

  1. Please note that the arrival time may be delayed due to traffic conditions, etc.

  2. Please allow about 5 minutes to wait at the bus stop. The bus will not depart earlier than the designated time.

  3. The school bus will always stop at the designated stops, but will depart if there are no children present at the scheduled time.

  4. When waiting at a bus stop, please wait in a single line so as not to cause inconvenience to neighbors or other pedestrians.

  5. Please wait for the school bus with your bus card ready and your school bag on your shoulder until the school bus arrives.

  6. When the school bus arrives, please raise your hand to let the driver know. Do not approach the school bus until it has stopped.

  7. When boarding a school bus, please give priority to passengers getting off before boarding.

Precautions on the school bus

  1. When boarding the school bus, please place your bus card in the case at the boarding entrance.

  2. When school is over and you are ready to board the school bus home, please receive your bus card from the driver and board the bus with the driver.
    (*If you are only taking the school bus to the club, please tell the driver when you arrive at the club that you are only going there and take your card with you when you get off.)

  3. Once you are seated in your bus seat, please fasten your seat belt and never stick your hands or face out of the window.

  4. Please do not stand, walk or fool around while the bus is moving.

  5. Eating or drinking is not permitted on the bus, other than from water bottles brought by each household for hydration.

  6. Please do not bring games or snacks.

  7. When you approach your stop, tell the driver loudly, "I'm getting off at the next bus stop."

  8. If you start to feel unwell, tell the driver straight away that you are feeling unwell.

Precautions when getting on and off the train

  1. You cannot get on or off at any bus stop other than the one you applied for.

  2. When you get off the school bus, please wait there until the bus departs.
    *Please inform parents that your child should be extremely careful as there is a risk of a vehicle jumping out in front or behind a stopped school bus and causing a collision with an oncoming vehicle.

  3. If your child is unable to get off at their bus stop on the way back (for example, they fell asleep and didn't notice, or they missed their bus stop), we will take your child on the school bus until the club arrives. After the club arrives, staff will contact the parent/guardian to discuss how to proceed.
    *We will discuss whether the parent/guardian will come to pick up the child or whether the child will be picked up on the next available shuttle.

Notes and Guidance for Parents

  1. Please be sure to wait at the drop-off side when picking up your child.
    *If you wait on the opposite side of the road from the bus stop, your child may cross the road, which is very dangerous.

  2. Parents may only ride with children on the infant course.
    *For first grade elementary school students, parents may accompany their children until they become accustomed to riding the bus, but we may refuse their request if the bus is full (in principle, only for the first time).

  3. Please note that service may be suspended suddenly.
    *If service is suspended due to bad weather, breakdowns, road conditions, etc., we will notify you via our website, app notifications, and email distribution service.

  4. Various procedures for using school buses
    *If you wish to cancel or change your membership, day, time or route, please complete the procedure at the club reception by the last practice day of the previous month.

Other notes

  1. After practice, please change clothes immediately and come to the meeting place. The bus departs at 10 minutes past the hour. Please be careful not to miss the bus, especially if you are using the return bus only.

  2. If you suddenly have to miss the bus because a parent or guardian has to pick you up, please be sure to inform a club staff member or the driver before the school bus departs and collect your bus card.

  3. If you are only taking the return bus, please present your bus card at the reception before joining the practice.

About using the online absence/transfer service

  1. If you will only be absent from school bus attendance, please register your absence online.
    *If you register that you will not be attending practice, your bus ride will also be automatically canceled. Please note that if you return to the original practice date and the bus is full, you will not be able to register to ride.
    *If you are not waiting when the bus arrives at your stop, you will be considered absent and the bus will depart.

  2. If you wish to use the bus to reschedule your practice session, please register for the bus service online.
    *If there are no vacant seats or there are no bus stop options, no bus options will be displayed.
