Notes on using school buses

To use the school bus, you must complete the school bus use application at the club reception. When using the school bus, you can only get on and off on the days, times, routes, and stops that you have applied for. Please note that you cannot board the bus on an individual basis due to weather conditions, etc. (such as only riding when it rains).

*If you ride the school bus, you will need to purchase a school bus reflective label at the club and attach it to your school bag. (Fee for school bus reflective label: 1,100 yen (tax included))

Please be sure to understand the following points and inform your child accordingly.

At the bus stop

  1. Please note that the arrival time may be delayed due to traffic conditions, etc.

  2. Please allow about 5 minutes to wait at the bus stop.
    Furthermore, we will not depart earlier than the specified time.

  3. The school bus will always stop at the designated stops, but will depart if there are no children present at the scheduled time.

  4. When waiting at a bus stop, please wait in a single line so as not to cause inconvenience to neighbors or other pedestrians.

  5. Please wait for the school bus with your bus card ready and your school bag on your shoulder until the school bus arrives.

  6. When the school bus arrives, please raise your hand to let the driver know.
    Do not approach a school bus until it has stopped.

  7. When boarding a school bus, please give priority to passengers getting off before boarding.

Precautions on the school bus

  1. When boarding the school bus, please hand your bus card to the driver.When boarding the bus, please hand your bus card to the driver.

  2. After practice, please leave the club and collect your bus card from the driver at the designated spot on the right. (If you are only riding to the bus, please hand the card to the driver when you board and tell him/her that you are only riding to the bus.) After the boarding check is complete, the card will be returned to your child on the spot.

  3. Once you are seated in your bus seat, please fasten your seat belt and never stick your hands or face out of the window.

  4. Please do not stand, walk or fool around while the bus is moving.

  5. Eating or drinking is not permitted on the bus, other than from water bottles brought by each household for hydration.

  6. Please do not bring games or snacks.

  7. If you start to feel unwell, tell the driver straight away that you are feeling unwell.

Precautions when getting on and off the train

  1. You cannot get on or off at any bus stop other than the one you applied for. Once you get off the school bus, please wait there until the bus departs.
    *Please inform parents that your child should be extremely careful as there is a risk of a vehicle jumping out in front or behind a stopped school bus and causing a collision with an oncoming vehicle.

  2. If you are unable to get off at your stop on the return bus (for example, you fell asleep and didn't notice, or you missed your stop)
    If a child is unable to get off the bus due to the above reasons, the child will remain on the school bus until the club arrives. Once the child arrives at the club, staff will contact the parent/guardian to discuss the next steps.
    *We will discuss whether the parent/guardian will come to pick up the child or whether the child will be picked up on the next available shuttle.

Notes and Guidance for Parents

  1. Please be sure to wait at the drop-off side when picking up your child.
    *If you wait on the opposite side of the road from the bus stop, your child may cross the road, which is very dangerous.

  2. When a first grade elementary school student joins the club, a parent or guardian may accompany them until they become accustomed to riding the bus; however, we may refuse this request if the bus is at full capacity.

  3. Please note that service may be suspended suddenly.
    *If service is suspended due to bad weather, breakdowns, road conditions, etc., we will notify you via our website, app notifications, and email distribution service.

  4. Various procedures for using school buses
    *Applications for cancellation or changes to the day, time or route must be completed at the club reception by the 10th of each month.

Other notes

  1. Once practice is over, please change clothes and head to the bus meeting point. The bus departs every hour at 40 minutes past the hour.
    In particular, if you are using a return bus only, please be careful not to miss it.

  2. If you suddenly have to miss the bus because your parent or guardian has to pick you up, please be sure to inform the club staff or driver before the school bus departure time and collect your bus card.

  3. If you are only taking the return bus, please present your bus card at the reception before joining the practice.

About using the online absence/transfer service

  1. If you would like to board the school bus at the time of the transfer, please be sure to contact our club by phone at least one day in advance.

  2. If you wish to use the school bus on the transfer date, you may only use the bus stops that you have registered. You may not use the bus at any other stops. Also, if the bus is at capacity, you may not be able to board. Thank you for your understanding.
