Notes on using school buses

To use the school bus, you must complete the school bus use application at the club reception. When using the school bus, you can only get on and off on the days, times, routes, and stops that you have applied for. Please note that you cannot board the bus on an individual basis due to weather conditions, etc. (such as only riding when it rains).
*If you are riding on a school bus, you will need to purchase a school bus reflective label at the club and attach it to your school bag. [Bus reflective label fee: 1,100 yen (tax included)]

Please be sure to understand the following points and inform your child accordingly.

At the bus stop

  1. 1) Please note that there may be delays in arrival due to traffic conditions, etc.

  2. 2) Please wait at your bus stop with about 5 minutes to spare.

  3. Furthermore, we will not depart earlier than the specified time.

  4. 3) The school bus will always stop at the designated stops, but will depart if there are no children present at the scheduled time.

  5. 1) When waiting at a bus stop, please wait in a single line to avoid causing inconvenience to neighbors and other pedestrians.

  7. 5) Please wait for the school bus with your bus card ready and your school bag on your shoulder until the school bus arrives.

  8. 6) When the school bus arrives, please raise your hand to let the driver know.

  9. Do not approach a school bus until it has stopped.

  10. 7) When boarding a school bus, please give priority to passengers getting off before boarding.

Precautions on the school bus

  1. 1) When boarding the school bus, please place your bus card in the case at the boarding entrance.

  2. 2) When school is over and you are boarding the school bus to go home, please leave your belongings in the case at the bus entrance.

  3. Please take your bus card and sit in your seat.

  4. *If you are only taking the school bus to the club, please take your card with you when you get off.

  5. 3) Once you are seated in your bus seat, fasten your seat belt and never stick your hands or face out of the window.

  6. 4) Please do not stand, walk or fool around while the bus is moving.

  7. 5) Eating or drinking is not permitted on the bus, other than from water bottles provided by each household.

  8. 6) Please do not bring games or snacks.

  9. 7) When you approach your bus stop, tell the driver loudly, "I'm getting off at the next bus stop."

  10. 8) If you start to feel unwell, immediately tell the driver that you are feeling unwell.

Precautions when getting on and off the train

  1. 1) You cannot get on or off at any bus stop other than the one you applied for. (Other routes may be used only when participating in a make-up practice session.) Once you get off the school bus, please wait there until the bus departs.

  2. *There is a risk of children jumping out from the front or rear of a stopped school bus and causing collisions with oncoming vehicles.

  3. So we ask parents to be careful.

  4. 2) If you are unable to get off the bus at your stop on the return trip

  5. (I fell asleep and didn't notice, I passed my stop, etc.)

  6. If a child is unable to get off the bus due to the above reasons, the child will remain on the school bus until the club arrives. Once the child arrives at the club, staff will contact the parent/guardian to discuss the next steps.

  7. *We will discuss whether the parent/guardian will come to pick up the child or whether the child will be picked up on the next available shuttle.

Notes and Guidance for Parents

  1. 1) When picking up your child, please be sure to wait at the drop-off side.

  2. *If you wait on the opposite side of the road from the bus stop, your child may cross the road, which is very dangerous.

  3. 2) Parents may only ride with their children during the children's course hours.

  4. *When joining as a first grade elementary school student, a parent or guardian may accompany the child until they become accustomed to riding the bus. However, we may refuse this request if the bus is at full capacity.

  5. 3) Please be aware that service may be suspended suddenly.

  6. *If service is suspended due to bad weather, breakdowns, road conditions, etc., notifications will be sent via the website, app, and email distribution service.

  7. We will notify you via email.

  8. 4) Various procedures for using school buses

  9. *Please apply for cancellation or change of day, time or route at the club reception by the 10th of each month.

Other notes

  1. 1) Once practice is over, please change clothes immediately and get on the bus.

  2. The bus departs 10 minutes after practice ends every hour.

  3. In particular, if you are using a return bus only, please be careful not to miss it.

  4. 2) If you suddenly have to miss the bus because your parent or guardian needs to pick you up, please be sure to inform the club staff or driver before the school bus departure time and collect your bus card.

  5. 3) If you are only riding the bus on the return trip, please present your bus card at the reception desk before joining the practice.

About using the online absence/transfer service

  1. 1) If you will only be absent due to the school bus, please register your absence online.

  2. *If you register as missing practice, your bus ride will be automatically canceled.

  3. Please note that if you return to your original practice date, you will not be able to register to board if the bus is at full capacity.

  4. *If you are not waiting when the bus arrives at your stop, you will be considered absent and the bus will depart.

  5. 2) If you will be using the bus to reschedule your practice session, please register for the bus service online.　

  6. *If there are no vacant seats or there are no bus stop options, no bus options will be displayed.
